The 2010 Ford Mustang is an America’s favorite muscle car for 45 years straight after the first car made its introduction in 1964. The 2010 Mustang body has designed with new styling. This time with integrated multi-element headlamps replacing the twin round lamps of past Mustangs, a power-dome hood that droops over the grille at its leading edge, absolutely new side sculpting. At the back, the new Mustang 2010 presents its tail lamps proudly on an outgoing surface. The new shape pays dividends in fuel economy and aerodynamic stability, while the details add to its appeal. In a slick bit of showmanship, leading into the tail, the rear fender features a distinct kick up that is much stronger and more powerful-looking than the outgoing model.

Inside, there is more mastic, a better grade of carpeting, a sound- absorbing headliner material, and there is much more noise insulation in the body.

The New Mustang is available in four basic onfigurations: V-6, V-6 Premium, GT, and GT Premium.The 2010 Mustang is driven by the 4.0-liter, 210-horsepower V-6 is good, but is no equal for the revised 315-horsepower 4.6- liter V8 GT, which produces 325 pounds-feet of torque and adds 15 horsepower due to a cold-air induction system. All models are equipped with a choice of five-speed manual or automatic transmissions. The 2010 Mustang has a little improved fuel economy with 16-18 mpg in the city and 23-26 mpg on the highway, and competes with other muscle cars — the Dodge Challenger and Chevrolet Camaro.

The Standard features on this 2010 Ford Mustang include a tilt steering wheel, cruise control, air conditioning, a CD audio system that is MP3 compatible, split-folding rear seat, and power windows. Content builds from here up through the following trim levels: SE, Sport, and SEL. At the top is the GT Premium model with leather seats, power everything, SYNC, and aluminum wheels ranging from base 17-inch aluminum wheels to optional 19-inch rims on the GT. Given the Mustang’s performance edge, higher-performance axles are provided, including a 3.55:1 ratio.

The New Ford Mustang also delivers on safety with a standard complement of features, including ABS, traction control, electronic stability control, tire-pressure monitoring system, remote keyless entry, and four airbags. Optional safety-directed features include the rearview camera, along with 911 Assist for vehicles with SYNC. The New Mustang is one of few vehicles to get five-star ratings from the federal government, across the board, even for rollover resistance.

The 2010 Mustang V-6 coupe is offered starting at $20,995, and the V-6 convertible at $25,995. Pricing for the GT V-8 coupe starts at $27,995, with the GT V-8 convertible at $32,995.
